Music Playground is a community-driven platform connecting artists, music lovers, and venues in Malta's underground scene. We organize events, provide resources for musicians, and offer perks to our members.
How do I join as a musician? +
Go to the Membership page and select the Musician plan. After payment, you will be prompted to create your artist profile, which will be verified by our team and added to the Community Archives.
Can I attend events without a membership? +
Yes! Most events are open to the public. However, members get discounted tickets, free drinks at select events, and access to exclusive content.
How do I get my band listed? +
You need to have an active Musician membership. Once subscribed, you can access the Artist Registration form from your profile or the Community page to submit your details.
What are the benefits of the Music Lover membership? +
Music Lovers get discounted tickets, free drinks at select events, access to exclusive content like masterclasses and behind-the-scenes footage, and discounts at partner shops.
How do I buy tickets for events? +
Navigate to the Events page, select the event you wish to attend, and click "Buy Ticket". You'll need to be logged in. If you are a paid member, your discount is applied automatically.
Can I get a refund on my ticket? +
Generally, tickets are non-refundable unless an event is cancelled. However, you can transfer your ticket to another user by contacting support.
I'm a solo artist, can I still join? +
Absolutely! The Musician membership is for bands, solo artists, DJs, and producers. You can list yourself in the archives and find collaborators.
How do I contact an artist for a booking? +
Visit the Community Archives (Directory), search for the artist, and view their profile. You'll find their social media links or contact information there.
What payment methods do you accept? +
We accept all major credit and debit cards via VivaWallet for both memberships and event tickets.
How do I cancel my membership? +
You can manage your subscription through your Profile settings. If you need assistance, please use the contact form on this page.
Are events age-restricted? +
Most of our events are 17+, but some specific venue restrictions may apply. Please check the individual event details for age requirements.
Can I volunteer at events? +
Yes! We are always looking for passionate people to help with door management, logistics, and promotion. Contact us using the form on the left.
How do I submit news or articles? +
If you have a story, review, or press release relevant to the local scene, send it to us via email or the contact form for consideration.
