Underground
Malta's music scene was always alive — in garages, basements, rooftops, and late-night bars. But it was scattered. Musicians didn't know each other. Gigs were found through word of mouth. Venues had no reliable way to discover new talent.
MusicPlayground started as a simple idea: what if we connected everyone? Not through algorithms or ad spend — but through a real community built by the people who live and breathe this scene.
From our first jam night to filling a stage at Earth Garden, we proved there was a hunger for this. We built the platform, partnered with venues and studios, and kept showing up — because the scene deserved infrastructure that actually served the artists.
We're not a corporation. We're musicians, listeners, and people who believe Malta's underground deserves to thrive.
